How do you keep AG shoes on?

We use the miniature bands used for braces. Zebras have just the right amount of stretch and are "nude" colored. On the flip flops I loop it over the strap and behind the ankle. It's hard for my daughter to take off, but Gracie (LE Kailey) has never lost a sandal yet.
